Wildlife & Nature

Sarawak and Sabah have the finest network of National Parks and Wildlife Reserves in all of Southeast Asia, packed with iconic species unique to Borneo, including Bornean Orangutans, Borneo Pygmy Elephants and Proboscis Monkeys, as well as many hundreds of unique bird, reptile and amphibian species. Plant life includes huge Rafflesia flowers, giant rainforest trees, and countless species of Orchids. Amongst  the spectacular natural features are the Mulu Caves, the world’s largest cave system, and the highest mountain in the Malay archipelago, Mount Kinabalu.
